Speaker

From my training, competitions, and adventures, I have drawn countless lessons. A foundation of knowledge largely transferable to the business world, which, like an ultra-trail, is also made up of highs and lows, enthusiasm and disappointments, and the necessity to find the resources to start again, create, and reinvent oneself when all indicators are red, and one feels like giving up.

For me, who has also experienced the corporate world and its often perplexing issues due to their abstract nature, these conferences represent an opportunity to convey to my audience concrete methods and examples inspired by my journey, my adventures, and high-level sports.

Mathieu conveyed all his passion and energy during his presentation with great mastery. Beyond self-transcendence, it was a real discovery of the collective strength drawn from a discipline that is usually perceived as individual. Thank you, Mathieu.

Caroline from KPMG

We invited Mathieu to a year-end seminar that brought together more than 150 managers. Through his story and athletic journey, Mathieu conveyed a lot of energy and managed to touch the audience. Thanks to his speech and the way he talked about his journey, we found many similarities between our professional field (Retail) and the various stages of a high-level athlete’s life. A big thank you, Mathieu, for your presence, your time, and the quality of your performance. Several months later, our managers are still talking about you.

Paul from Fnac

We were delighted with his presentation; he was very clear, well-prepared, and had good oral posture! It’s an exercise in which he is comfortable and even enjoys while remaining very humble! I highly recommend him.

Victoria from Miu Miu

Themes of My Conferences

To ensure these lessons resonate as accurately as possible, I can adapt to the company’s needs and desires, its current situation – loss of revenue, growth, crisis, success – or the themes it holds dear:

Resilience, which I have learned to tame and strengthen throughout my races and adventures.

Performance and self-transcendence, which need to be constantly questioned to be explored to the fullest.

Time and energy management, which I believe are our most precious resources and on which our success depends. Knowing how to manage your time and effort is about maximizing your potential.

Setting and Achieving Ambitious Goals Or how maintaining a high level of expectation and the ability to renew oneself is an essential journey.

Managing Failure . In high-level sports, as in business, one must be able to bounce back, believe in oneself again, and invoke positive emotions and motivation.

Leadership. Acting as a leader is not innate; it is learned.

This list is, of course, far from exhaustive. It continues to evolve with my experiences as a high-level athlete, adventurer, and coach.
